The A of "Accepting"

Feeling accepted, sounds easier said than done.

People are like puzzles and each piece is unique. People are having some pieces in common and some are not. Accepting someone is not the same as agreeing or disagreeing. It's about knowing you are different and understanding that's okay. It's what makes us human.

We accept everyone as a total package, as you can never make a full puzzle without using all pieces, you can't accept someone partly. There will always be characteristics you don't like about someone, but that doesn't make them less worth or human.

"Everyone is allowed to be themselves and we are respectful of that." That's one of the house rules. If we notice someone is being disrespectful of others, we will intervene and have a conversation about it as long as that is doable.
