It's a terrefying chaos of information from which you don't know what is true and what isn't. The search for information and proper support on any kind of level can be overwhelming.

Next to that, these days minors (-18) can find anything online, parents often don't know how to respond or guide, people have prejudices causing people not communicating about it in real life and so on. This creates an environement where people get to dangerous sources and dangerous people online. We rather have those people to talk to the appropriate authorities to guide them.
